Omega-3s And How They Benefit You.

Did you know that inflammation might be the reason your body isn’t losing weight? Most of the clients that come to me are feeling stuck and burnt out. They’ve felt like their bodies have failed them in a sense because everything they have tried before has stopped short of them reaching their dream goals.

But when we begin to uncover their food patterns and lifestyle habits we find that inflammation is the sneaky culprit that they didn’t suspect was holding them back. 

It’s not bad genes or fate or that you “were always made to just feel this way”. There are things you can do right now to help shift your momentum to start to see the results you crave and one of the first steps is to focus on Omega-3’s. Omega-3’s are one of those nutrients we know we need but we’re never really sure why. So let me break it down for you.

Omega-3 fatty acids are essential for the optimal function of every cell in our body but we can’t produce them internally. Our body doesn’t naturally make this nutrient so we need to absorb them in our diet. You can find Omega-3’s in foods like fatty fish and certain nuts and seeds but most likely the easiest way to make sure you’re incorporating them into your diet is by liquid or pill form. There are so many other benefits to this super nutrient other than reducing your inflammation. Omega-3’s clear up your skin, protect your heart, boost your immune system, and increases blood flow.
